Hon Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis Flags off the new tractor shipments to European and Asian Markets

PUNE, India (March 5, 2016) – John Deere India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Deere & Company, celebrated yet another mile stone as they continue their leadership to be the largest tractors exporters out of India. John Deere India for the past 13 years has been the recipient of the prestigious Engineering Exports Promotion Council Award and exports to over 110 countries globally.

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Devendra Fadnavis during his visit today, to John Deere’s state of the art manufacturing facility at Pune, flagged off shipment of new tractors to European and Asian countries. John Deere also introduced technologically advanced new generation tractors for domestic market.

We continue to bring advanced products and solutions, which provide opportunities for enhanced productivity and profitability to our customers, said Satish Nadiger, Managing Director and CEO of John Deere India. The manufacturing prowess in India also helps us to serve our customers globally, he added.

Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Devendra Fadnavis also participated as chief guest in the Ground Breaking ceremony of a New Model School in Sanaswadi Village that John Deere is supporting under their CSR project. The school is managed by Shri Nareshwar Education Society, Sanaswadi. Honorable Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Food and Drugs Administration and Parliamentary Affairs Shri Girish Bapat, Shri Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil, MP, Shirur and Baburao Pacharne, MLA, Shirur also graced the occasion.

Since then, Deere has added manufacturing locations, a non-banking finance company to exclusively support John Deere’s dealers and customers, and a technology and engineering center in Pune in 2005.
