Research and development

Our founder, John Deere, understood the value of research and development. History has shown that his company continued to invest heavily in new products and services, through good times and bad. So it is today. Investments are divided among support for current product improvements, new product development, and the search for new product-oriented businesses.

Visit a John Deere factory and, most likely, you'll find a product engineering department. It's responsible for the design and development of their factory's products. In addition, the Moline Technology Innovation Center, Moline, Illinois also handles research and development activities.
